Thankyou for playing my 2D shooter project, The Journey Home. each level is different, but if you read the instructions I've given a brief explanation of how to win each level.

The changes I've made are:

level 1: in this level you can make use of your environment to beat the more difficult enemies, I reduced player fire rate to incentivize that, and tried to include an example of the strategy built into the beginning of the level. 

          added a minimap, with a player icon for increased visibility. 

          reduced follow distance of chasers

         reduced health of stationary enemies

         reduced fire rate of player

         reduced spread of player fire


level 2: this level is all about shooting the enemies before they can overwhelm you, just keep shooting and dodging their attacks and you will win before too long

        increased fire rate of player

        increased spread of player

        changed enemyspawnchaser to spawn straight chasing enemies

       no minimap on this level


level 3: in this level you cannot shoot, go through the simple maze to get home while avoiding the astroids which will chase you

        removed player shooting

        no minimap on this level

        changed astroid to chase

        modified astroid to create a win condition at the end



I feel that each level is a unique experience, with modifications made to support the objective of each.
